Brendan Lea is an international educator with over. He has spent the past decade working in IB PYP schools in Japan and South Korea. He has taught various grades across elementary and has spent time as a teacher librarian, and a technology facilitator. Starting in August, Brendan will be working as a Technology Coach.
Brendan has a Masters in Education Technology and Graduate Certificates in Technology Integration and Educational Technology and Information Literacy. He is currently working on obtaining certificates in School Technology Coordination and Online Teaching.
Brendan was first bitten by the coding bug after attending a Maker workshop for teachers. Since that time he has developed a deep passion for coding and sees the potential for bringing coding concepts into the elementary classroom. His goal is to demystify coding and provide teachers with tips and resources to help them integrate coding in a meaningful way into their curriculum.
